A beginner to intermediate level ride with the Metro Atlanta Cycling Club at the Silver Comet Trail. Shorter option will stick to the trail for a relaxed out and back 30 miles. Riders who would like to improve their fitness will start with the short option group, but leave the trail for a “no-drop challenge loop” and a total of 45 miles. The ride begins at the parking lot behind the Silver Comet Depot, 4342 Floyd Rd., Mableton, GA 30126.

Directions from Atlanta: Take I-20 west to Fulton Industrial Boulevard Exit (#49, near Six Flags) - exit to the right. Go North for .5 mile and turn left on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive (GA139). Go about 7 miles (Martin Luther King Drive turns into Floyd Road after Highway 78, GA139 ends at the 78) and the Silver Comet Depot will be on your left just before you cross the Silver Comet Trail.
